Uttar Pradesh: Four Killed, 15 Injured in Road accident on Yamuna Expressway

The injured were admitted to various hospitals including Kailash hospital in Jewar.AGRA: Four persons including a 6-year-old child were killed and 15 others were injured after a 13-seater passenger vehicle Cruiser, they were travelling in crashed into a road divider on the Yamuna Expressway near milestone 60 in Mathura on Tuesday. The vehicle was heading from Agra to Noida.

According to police, the incident took place at 1 pm under Naujheel police jurisdiction. Preliminary investigations indicated that the driver of the ill fated vehicle dozed off and lost control over the speeding vehicle. The driver is also among the dead.
The deceased’s identities are yet to be ascertained. The injured were admitted to various hospitals including Kailash hospital in Jewar.

SP (rural) Shireeshchand said that the matter is being inquired and FIR could be registered as the number of passengers in the vehicle were higher than permitted. He said the condition of the injured is serious.
