Road safety week is being observed at various places in the city. Police officials have also been seen spreading awareness. Recently, students of various colleges became a part of the awareness week to spread the word.
Organised by the Nashik City Police Regional Transport Office ,the initiative was held at Pathardi Phata, Choufuli. Placards with various slogans like ‘Hoil don minitacha ushir, pan jivan rahil surkshit’, ‘Use seatbelt and save life’, and many more interesting slogans related to road safety, attracted citizens at signals.
Later, students paid a visit to the RTO office, where they were shown a demonstration on how to drive vehicles safely. These students were also made aware about the procedure to procure driving license.
