Many passengers were injured when a Delhi-bound bus turned over on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway on Thursday.
The bus had started its journey from Uttar Pradesh’s Sant Kabir Nagar district.
The incident took place in Nagla Khangar area, according to reports. The bus overturned about 10-foot away after breaking the railing on the expressway.
The bus, run by a private operator, had more than 40 passengers. Most of the riders have been injured. Severely injured passengers have been taken to a nearby hospital.
The Health Department was informed about the incident, and a team reached the spot on Thursday. The team treated passengers with minor injuries on the spot.
An investigation is underway, and the cause of the accident is yet to be known.
