MUMBAI: State transport minister Anil Parab released a 72-page handbook on Friday, that contains road safety measures for students, to be distributed to schools across the state.
“The book, in simple language, provides do’s and don’ts for road safety and inculcates good habits among students, who can then influence their elders,” said Parab. He added that the responsibilities of a driver and passenger in a vehicle are also broadly spelt out in the handbook. It is divided into three parts—for students of class II-IV, class V-X and junior college.
